Dear lovers of Kerkennah, We have booked our holiday at the grand again after falling in love with the island on our last visit two years ago. We are having problems getting information about being diverted to monastir airport, Does anyone know how long it takes to get from Monastir to the Island. Does anyone know if the childrens rep sarah and noufel are still at the Grand. Many Thanks the Wright family

Well i first holidayed in kerkennah 8 years agao and have seen many changes, i know alot of the islanders who have become great friends and i e-mail and write frequently to several, i am out again in 5 1/2 months with the people i meet the very first time i went there (kyla and jim) i cant wait to see them back where we first meet. For anyone who is looking for a 5 star palace full of brits only dont go here, it is quiet and friendly the food in my opinion is great (bearing in mind its all imported from the mainland so yes can get repetative) but best of all the locals are part of your hols so let them show off and show you around invite them to your table for a drink whether you understand each other or not their smile will let you know your their friend. KK is never far from my thoughts always in my heart as are `Walid,Kamel, Alla, Helme,Saba, mokta, Ali baba (mokted)sammy, sami,i could go on......... Love to you all x Vicky
