| i feel exceptionally incompetent and apologetic right now dear readers... i"ve given you nothing for more than a month and i don"t deserve your kind words. i could offer excuses like moving back to the states from england, getting ready to go to india for the summer, being distracted and busy, and simply uninspired, but i"m sorry i"ve not been able to finish this story yet, or even get you to the ball. i need to get my head into it, and that"s simply not happening lately. i don"t want to abandon this story, so keep faith and i shall try my best to update even a little before leaving. thank you so much for your support, it means so much to me. and i"m really touched that so many of you like this story. thank you again. love, cerulean |

| Don"t worry love, you write this story entirely in the spirit of that century, of that time. And I love it!!! I can"t wait for Sophia going to the ball, intrigues will come up, eligable men will want her, but I still hope everything will turn out right for Sophia and Orlando. With Lady Diane knowing her secret it must!!! Diane must inform her husband and brother-in-law of this very soon. Although that would take the fun out of the story! The last bit of this chapter was very nice, I could see it happen right in front of my eyes, but I"m such a hopeless romantic, it was well written though!! You have an eye for detail, like the candle-light, oh and I liked the end of the dance-lesson, when he bowed and she curtsed (is this how you write this? I think you will know what I mean!) I would never have thought of that!! Lovely! So please update as soon as you can! Thanks for now, hugs and kisses!! |

| hey that is a great story,i love it so far, they are very much in love so far, even if they don`t know it,you asked for a twist,I have there an idea,how about if orlando finds out the entire story about her going from home,but he gets it totally wrong since some jealous woman from the ball has told him that she has committed some crime or has eloped or something like that.then he dispises her, but sophia gains her status back and a couple of admirers, orlando gets in trouble with his work and she has to help him or he has to rescue her from some admirer and gets to know the real story( not that that would matter by that time) well,I am not a writer but something totally romantic like that was somehow inm my mind.you have done a great job.do you like any of my ideas???would love to hear from you if you like my ideas.I can*t wait to see what happens next.thanks for sharing the story | |
