| Duly noted and corrected as best I could Kim. The marquis part.. if Napoleon did away with titles.. did that apply to England as well? Because the gentleman in question here was English. Thank you so much for caring about the details. Sadly, I don't know/remember enough of my European history. If you had the time and patience, I would love to send you chapters just a bit ahead of time so you could look them over for historical accuracy. My e-mail is ceruleanedge@frontiernet.net. Thanks again! -ceru |

| It is getting really good.... I do have a few historical inaccuraucies to point out... first, Napoleon did away with titles in the early 1800's.. so the man wouldn't be expecting to inherit the marquis title... also you mention that France and England were friends before the war but actually they were always enemies only after the mid 1800's with Napoleon III were they back on "friendly" bases... I don't mean to be a pain but i just can't help but pick out the historial stuff... european history is my major... I really do like this fanfic...I have been patiently waiting for you to focus back on it... keep up the good work and please update soon. | |

| So glad to see this story in the works again! It's one of my favorites and I thought it had been abandoned indefinitely. I think the chapter's tone sounded just fine and fit very well with the rest of the story. Love the tension building between Orlando and Sophia...it's gonna be something when it finally boils over. :) Keep up the great work! | |

| Wow, good update. You haven't lost the flow at all, and you're doing really well with this. I love "In this silence..." but this one just takes the biscuit I think. I love Sophia, she's such a strong yet vulnerable character, she sort of contradicts herself in a way. I love Orlando as well, so chivalrous and well-mannered. I like how he doesn't take her intelligence for granted, unlike many men did in those days. The story is well-written, and interesting, I love how it's so unique, and different from the average love story. And I LOVE the idea of it being set in Victorian England, because being English myself, I like when authors acknowledge England's fantastic history. Well done and update again soon, because you're doing fantastically. Claire Bloom P.S: Thanks for your reviews on my work, they're really nice. |

| Glad to see you're back on this story....I liked it a lot...it's the time-space it's in, the 1800's I simply love it, so balls and society and theater and opera and so on.....mmmmm.....not to bad...As to this last chapter: it's great...Orlando having problems at work...and Sophia not wanting to leave the house, because of society...that must give you something to work with...someone could recognise her when riding in Hyde-park...or Ian would find out who is the gouverness in Eric's household....her step-mother could pop up and cause trouble, Orlando and Sophia could get involved with each other and misunderstandings occur....or you could throw all this in a mixer and make a cocktail, well, I don't know, I'm not good at writing but maybe your muse can do something with this. In any way I really like your story and hope you will update soon!!!! Thanks!!! |
